Affiliate & Referral Terms

Nicoya Research pays for qualified growth in two separate ways. This page explains both. Nothing here promises investment returns.

Eligibility

To qualify to promote Nicoya Research or earn under these terms, you must hold an active Nicoya Research newsletter subscription — free or paid. Nicoya may decline or withhold compensation when this eligibility is not met. Beehiiv does not automatically enforce this requirement; Nicoya reviews eligibility manually where needed.

Path A — Paid-subscription referral participants: use your personal beehiiv referral link after you’re a Nicoya subscriber. For payout questions or to confirm a paid claim, contact us.

Path B — Newsletter publishers (free-list acquisition via beehiiv paid recommendations): there is no separate Nicoya enrollment portal. Log into beehiiv, open Recommendations, then Marketplace under Outgoing recommendations, and search for Nicoya Research to apply to the active paid offer. A Nicoya-specific Share offer link is not published here yet — ask via Contact Us if you need that link.

1) Beehiiv paid recommendations (free-list acquisition)

Other beehiiv publications can recommend Nicoya’s free newsletter through beehiiv’s Recommendations Marketplace.

What Nicoya pays (gross cost per verified free signup): $2.50 per verified free signup.

What recommending publishers typically earn (net of beehiiv’s documented ~20% fee): On the $2.50 offer, about $2.00 per verified signup.

Do not treat Nicoya’s acquisition cost as your earnings. Your live payout, status, and tracking are controlled in your beehiiv partner dashboard after acceptance.

Verification hold: paid free-list acquisitions are subject to beehiiv’s verification process. Nicoya’s account currently shows a 10-day pending/verification hold. That hold is not a fixed browser “cookie window.” Funds apply only to signups that pass verification under beehiiv’s rules.

How to join (publishers): there is no separate public Nicoya enrollment portal. Apply to Nicoya’s active paid offer in the beehiiv Marketplace (or via a Share offer link when Nicoya provides one). Acceptance is at Nicoya’s discretion. Once accepted, use the tracked recommendation path beehiiv provides.

2) Subscriber referral rewards (paid-subscription claims)

Existing Nicoya subscribers may share their personal beehiiv referral link.

Stated reward (manual payout, not automatic Stripe commission): $100 for a referred quarterly paid subscription; $250 for a referred yearly paid subscription; paid via Zelle or cryptocurrency after review.

Important: beehiiv’s referral milestone counts confirmed newsletter signups from your referral link. It does not automatically verify a paid purchase or auto-pay commissions. Nicoya manually reviews paid-subscription claims before any payout. Self-referrals are invalid. Reward payment is after 30 days, and the referred paid subscriber must not request a refund within those 30 days.

No duplicate compensation

Nicoya will not pay twice for the same person across both programs. If a signup or purchase could qualify under paid recommendations and a subscriber referral reward, Nicoya reviews the claim manually and pays under at most one path.

Attribution basics

Use only your official tracked link (Marketplace recommendation or personal referral link). Nicoya does not publish a verified fixed cookie-duration for these programs. Free-list verification holds and manual paid-claim review are separate from cookie marketing. Paid rewards require a purchase Nicoya can trace to your referral under review.

Prohibited

Spam, bots, fake or duplicate accounts; self-referrals; incentivized signups without written approval; misleading claims of guaranteed investment returns; brand impersonation; and promoting Nicoya without required affiliate/partner disclosure.
